2nd time gown fit...

Me and dear went down for my 2nd time gown fit in the evening.. Still excited but less hyper as compared to my first trial. Not an easy tasks, without my dear gal frenz ard, just me and dear alone facing tough choices (the shop helpers and even the photographers gave their 2 cents worth!) But managed to pick out 2 after bout 3 hours and dressing and undressing.. So here are the NOT-selected ones... decided to keep the choosen ones a surprise on 30th nov ; )



Simple and elegant, huiz's dream gown (hee..) i like, but i like another one more... and some cmi ones tt i tried... yeah for the fun of it..




Doesn't look too right, isnt it.. gown in the wrong hanger haha~

Too pinky and plain.. nothing spectacular.. hmmz i look a bit tired... hee.. tired wk ba... but there r still lots of butterflies in my tummie!

Next appt will be picking outdoor gowns & kua + session w photographer :) actual shooting is set on 16th June!

After tots: Deeply appreciate kind friends who understood my concerns and giving their sincere opinions as a friend, reassuring its wat i like; rather than some blabbering opinions as if browsing a magazine pic. 不一樣就是不一樣。。。

The Interior Designer - Confirmed.

After months of comparison and deliberation, we have finally choosen OUR interior designer to transform our shelter into a place we call OUR home :)

The search for ID was not easy, from physics and economics pt of view, what do we know of false ceiling, system 4 non-convertor air con, water points for running of pipes... Mr Ang took the challenge of liaising with IDs from all over the island, recommendations from friends, colleagues, relatives and forummers. Meeting up with the designers over the weekends, scrutinising the quotation item by item late into the night, researching online the various models way before the sun rise, making numerous trips here n there to check out their reno workmanship and collecting ideas... (haha majiam writing testimonials ah~) yes, in all, its tough (erhm, i do follow him too, in case u think i m shaking legs somewhere).

So here's another milestone, another step closer to living tog... IZ design, his buddy's trustworthy contractor.

Our reno will begin after qing ming coz i am the pandang one... estimate to complete in about 6 weeks... of coz more work, more coordination... its bitter but sweet sweat, isn't it?

So furni shopping will get more intensive now... yes, not forgetting to venture to BKK in June to add to our Ang's collections :)

Simple Saturday…

Life can be just that simple.. Snuggling up @ his place enjoying a great book while it was raining cats and dogs outside. I learnt that it can be equally rewarding staying in rather out in the town merrymaking with friends.

Amidst the busy schedule of meeting ID after ID, we spent some quiet quality time together this afternoon doing some questionnaires on premarital counseling that I found online.

Qn: If your parent and your spouse fell into the sea, who will you save first if you only have one rope?

She: (Looking down and frowning) Can I dun answer coz I really don’t know. =(

He: I know my answer. Look @ me… (with the glow in his eyes and holding my hands tightly) I will throw the rope to my parent and save her/him coz I have to be a filial son. But since I cant save my wife, I will jump in and die with you. If there is a next lifetime, I will still want you as my wife =)

My ignorant answer pales in comparison to his and I shrank insignificantly to a grain of sand…

Yeah, it may sound very cliché or cheesy, maybe he has rehearsed it many times, but to me, it just simply melts my heart, once again.

Gown fitting I

YiPPie!!! First gown fitting!! After months of de-excite-mentation by Mr Ang, even the small measure of spontaneity i craved seemed too wild for him.. gulpz.. yet i m not able to fully suppress the jollity of one of the moment tt all girls r waiting for their entire lifetime which is further intensified by the hyper-ification by the girls..

This is the day!!! Yes.. i guess i m absolutely absorbed in this 3 hours of dressing and undressing~

Along came Weilin, Huiz and of coz Xianz (who managed to sneaked out of office for a short short while!!) Coz i tot Mr Ang will resume his routined "okie la", "alright la.." kinda comments so i brought my jie-meis along!! and guess what.. i m the bimbotic one who was so immersed in gowns after gowns tt all thoughts - to choose the one and only gown - have been suspended~ Thanxie girls for the golden advice (be it factual or opinions).. we need it!!! and surprisingly Mr Ang rose to the ocassion and gave his $900 worth of say, hee~

I had my eyes upon another similar gown (yes w embroidery ribbon stg like this..) but its not available in the studio todae.. will try again in the next fitting session..

One of the two shortlisted one.. It has an elaborate ruffles... effect = i m dwarfed in this super duper fluffy outfit!! but i like the criss cross back.. special hor =)

Second of the shortlisted one.. How about this very classy piece.. makes me v shu-nu??? haha it hides the tumm tumm!!

The lady chose this dazzling red maroon evening gown for me.. similar to the 'fan-shaped' one.. coz if the white gown chosen is the bubbly den for a different taste, the evening gown can be more demure ba.. but the criss cross @ the back is too much (didnt manage to take a pic).. but i quite like the front view - simple n elegant... The champaign one.. pleated bodice/tiered (tts wat they call it in magazine) hmm other than abit off-the-size, so-so ba...

Time for a short break, spread myself on the floor .. world peace V~

Met the gang for a wonderful dinn... It was really a light-hearted evening basking in the company of frenz whom i hang out with for almost a decade & even more..

Oh well.. tiring.. but fun!! tried about 7-8 wedding gowns and about 5 evening gowns.. the lady was very patient, really appreciated tt.. =) next appt in bout 2 weeks time to choose the evening gown and tea dress =D my hair!! can U grow faster!!! roarRRR

After constant whinning that i have not sing karaoke for the last 6 mths, dear mr ang took the deprived gal for K-lunch yest afternoon! hoho~ can u believe it.. even no one else fighting the mic w me, i didnt sing enough!!! roarRRR~ nonetheless, we had the luxury of enjoying my all-time fav songs.. eg. 華仔, Jacky Cheung & 李克勤 cantonese classic..
