Huat ah!! Happie Ratatouille brings joy and prosperity & lots of good food for the 2008! =D
Last evening, my husband-to-be went house visiting with us at my Big Uncle’s house. It was the very first time my relatives met him and its all full of praises for the Chua’s precious son-in-law (to-be). And of coz he was inducted well through the chess orientation with little Sean and the blackjack at mini Woodlands-Integrated Resort. (sorrie I forgot to take pics)
And the usual questions about our love nest and wedding preparations with golden advices from all the elders. The well wishes and congratulations that we’ve gotten a very good deal at our little abode do make me a bit overwhelmed suddenly.
Has it really been almost 2 years since we just got together? Isn’t it very fast (like what my cousin exclaimed) that we are tying the knot end of the year? Was it so long ago that I exit the bachelorette life? Life since last june has been revolving around worrying where to settle down, shopping for renovation firms and furniture, wedding preparations – I am hopping on to a bullet train to marriage! i am asked to collect as many ang paos as I can this year before I lose the entitlement! and worse.. peopz are teasing me to be a mama-to be VERY soon.. =O faintz..
I don’t seem to be basking in the carefree time where I just play and eat all I want during the festive season. Such a big contrast then when I longed to have some guy beside me to shut my gossipy relatives’ mouth up. Yesterday, everyone is grinning with the ‘ahhh finally’ face. Bleahz.
Now, I no longer have the feel of a little girl anymore. and lately, innocent sweet dates and any possible free time are spent on purposeful trips checking out sales, furniture malls and wedding stuff. IMM, Ikea and Courts are our recent hangouts other than going to schools.. No more shopping for clothes. Hardly any movies too.. and nuay time is so precious for the bear to hibernate in his bed.. i doubt there is any more sweet surprises on 14th Feb..
And i seem to have 101 unfinished things to do.. how to make time for school work (compulsory), content reading ECONS books (which is my 2008 new year resolution) OR pleasure reading of story books (hey i like reading books okie..) OR researching on wedding magazines OR reading forums on reno OR endulging in taiwanese drama 公主小妹 (back to my flowerpot F4 days) OR my all time fav HK serial 舞動全城 ??? how to multiply my 24 hours a day???!!!
Hmm.. it does seem very fast all in a sudden.. and its already beginning of Feb.. must slower my steps and breathe deeply while enjoying the process before I lose myself in this once-in a lifetime affair! Afterall, 空氣頭 like me will be well-taken care of right??..
and... a few not badz consoles..
