Term 2 Week 6

Had been a busy and stressful week.. blood pressure rocketing to record high~

Exhausted. 101 things to attend to.

I am physically and mentally drained.

Nonetheless a fulfilling one. Week 10, I am looking forward to U.

A series of quality family time

I had a great time w dad and mum todae. After clearing my work, took my parents out to shop and dine @ Novena, Square 2. A place i like to go but dun usually get to go often. It may sound a bit silly, gg all the way to Novena to do grocery shopping, but its shopping @ our favourite Korean mart. I bought a skirt too! It has been such a long time since we have a family day - on a precious weekend! Dinn @ the thai restaurant, its priceless to see them beaming from tooth to tooth.

On a merrier note, i also bought my dear dad to eat Sakae last Thurs! Haha he was craving for Unagi coz of the show tt he watched on TV.. So to stop his ranting, i took him to J8 on my precious one and only short day to enjoy the Jap meal. I think he likes chawanmushi hahaha~

After tots: How often do we eat something good tog.. How often do we get to do shopping tog.. How often do i get something for them tt they really like.. How often do i get to dote them just like how they pamper me when i was a little girl.. Yes, i love my parents. I dont know how to say sweet nothings to them. I don't give them kisses and hugs. My way of loving them is to see them smile and ensure they r well-fed.

Saturday @ Sungei Kadut

Our long awaited second trip to Sungei Kadut (Int'l Furniture Centre) was finally conceptualised yest... Its near Yew Tee where most of the furniture warehouses, showrooms are located.. yeah, both internal and external economy of scale tt benefits consumers like us w a one-stop location!

Saw alot of items tt we like... and took down for reference. Yes, no more impulsive signing away of our $$ this time round, basically coz we haven't decide on our theme or rather I can't make up my mind.. its a tug of war betw contemporary (modern items - black and white) and warm neutral (woody stuff)

Isn't the white shoe cabinet lovely.. so pleasant looking.. but wahaha i have decided to custom made one! opps~ otherwise i might consider getting it! I like the frosted look~ The top right is a hall unit - we are still thinking of whether we can forgo the feature wall in the living area by just getting a false wall with a tv console. Nice seatee with storage underneath right... - yes it cost $139!!! White console? or woody ones... Shrugz~

There is something in common tt we kinda both like~ okiez okiez, i like it abit MORE than him.. coz of the lil bao bao next to the arm rest! I like their sofas.. rem the 2 i posted sometime back?? ya, its all from the same shop... More or less we'll get the sofas from them ba.. just which one.. and look @ the materials to choose... furry fluffy comfy! zZz~ ya Ya YA, i will hibernate @ the platform w my moo moo cushion, no worries!

We have different tastes too.. for eg dinning table... its like at least the 20th one tt we have been looking @ coz we just cant simply agree to any... haiz~ i LOVE the white one, but will u spend $2k on a dinning table?? I LOVE the patterned one on the right, but he gimme a 'argghh' & duhz face. Wats wrong, they dun match meh??? The one @ the bottom.. hmmm... acceptable la.. =P

So these are wat he like... big piece of wood (hee just like him, woodie blockie.. Opps!) Nice black tempered glass but its $1k for only the table. $250 for EACH chair o_O

After tots: Ya, each piece of furni looks nice on its own.. but if we are gg to arrange them in the house, will they complement each other and bring out the feel tt we want? How to decide wat to mix and match? Not all woody things will blend well, i dun want a Bali resort feel... Not all black and white goes well, i dont want a 黑白猜... So... i have taken all possible pics of nice home designs & pretty furni to show our ID.. since she doesnt want to come shopping w us~ so i will tell her wat i like and get her to give her prof comments! \(^-^)/
