Another week... Another Thursday

Here’s another round of update one week later.. a little more info a little more pic! But still not done yet~

Oh well.. we have closed the deal for our sofa and dinning table and book shelf with a Malaysia’s furniture shop! Yes! All 3 that is worth only a S’pore sofa @ Sungei Kadut. Nonetheless, the quality seems comparable to that of local products. So was telling bear if really cmi (choiii touch wood!) we will overhaul again next year! Anywayz, many thanks to shiyee/shiyi?? and dewei for their time and advice and transport! =D

Opps I forgot to take pictures. So it’s just a qualitative moo-moo description.. erhm sofa is L-shape with back cushions and little cushions (beige brown theme) dinning table is black glass surface with 6 seaters. Bookshelf is solid wood quite fat and quite high keke~

Looking back at our reno.. doesn’t seem a lot but cost a lot!! Arggh… xin tong xin tong!!! But I know that my dear has done a lot of homework and comparison so we believe ‘one cent one quality’! Glad that we managed to cut down a bit on furni.. but building a nest is really not easy~ guess we have to eat grass after we r back frm honeymoon!

here are some follow up... the 'naked' tv feature wall & console.. tt space down there sigh~ dunnoe wat to do w it.. the woodie shoe cabinet... the vanity cabinet waiting for its mirror... the almost complete kitchen minus the table top. why is carpentry works SOOOOOOOoooooooo $$$ $_$ ... $o$ ... $^$
the last minute deicison to fix a feature wall (in the making) in the master room.. dunnoe how it will turn out.. the orginally isnt meant to be a rain shower set de shower set accompanied by its shower screen.. dun worry will fully utilise it! yupz tts all ba....
.
glad tt its friday tmr.
sianz tt its the parents-teachers' meeting tmr.
pissed off my nose is running every now and then.
excited about forensic heroes II.
jiayou with the marking.

Sbw nest on 16th Jul

Hee.. it has been a long time since I update about our love nest! Must be wondering is our house ready rightz~ oh well.. was contemplating whether to have some anticipation till housewarming or should share our excitement together.. coz there are alot of helpful and concerned frenz ard

Can take a peep @ our foyer leading to the living room and balcony also crowned as ‘miffy’s corner’! The ceiling works.. normal loh.. waiting for the tv feature wall to be fixed (soon).

Look @ the apple’s light reflections! This is where I be nua-ing my afternoon/ evening away hee hee Miffy's Corner~ thanxie hubby ang, the proud sponsor!

Moving on, these are the kitchen cabinets.. cant really see the contrast in colour right??... hee the hood and hob are still finding their way to their respective corner.. Such a nice kitchen = i will be more motivated to learn a few strokes of the art of frying and hopefully better utilise the food factory!

Okie.. this is the preview of our wardrobe leading to our master bedroom! Nice earthly colours? Hee.. our theme is more of warm neutral so more brown, beige, golden kinda colour scheme. cosy cosy??

No idea for the curve as yet. Bear says things will somehow find its way there eg. baby crib.. Orgh. Before tt leh… shrug.. the light is not supposed to be so low hanging. will change again.. but should it be centralised according to the room or bed?? hmmmz... oh yeah.. we also laminated the master bedroom floor (frm leftovers frm the balcony + top up which drilled a big hole in bear's pocket =P )

Yeah the aircons are all up and working well! Now left the shoe cabinet, tv feature wall, fixing up the toilet accessories and final coat of paint to our long awaited nest yup yup! Hopefully by next week can hand over the project! =D

Kk time to prepare my lect n watch a bit of abalone (hopefully)..

tataZ~

The Legend of the Wedding Band

"In a fair and far off country many centuries ago,
a kind young King was married to a princess he loved so.

Together they lived happily until one day
their nation's worst enemy would force the King to travel far away.

One night before he left, as he walked throughout the palace grounds,
He tossed into a moonlit pool some pebbles that he had found.

As the lovely ripples widened from where the little pebbles fell;
The King stood thinking quietly of the wife he loved so well.

And remembering the next day the surface he had seen,
He had a gold ring made to fit the finger of the Queen.

"There is no Ending or Beginning to the circle on this band,"
The King said to his wife, as he slipped it on her hand.

"And that's why I have chosen this golden ring
To be a pledge to you that my love will last through all Eternity."

And so, since then, a gold ring has been the symbol
Of beauty, devotion, and the endlessness of Love.

May all the Love and Happiness you two have found together,
Like the circle of the wedding band, go on and on forever.
