I love Tamako! \(^_^)/

Yeah! I am so proud of myself! Spent 6 hrs clearing my work station and finally ta-da~ Neat ba, heh heh~

Does it look as if I just started out my career?? Haha I threw away like 2 recycle bins 'worth' of trash dated 2006 lor… Things that I thought are important and useful are no longer functional.. Time to go… I want a good start for 2010 and I think Penguin Miffy wont be able to bend up and down by Jan 2010 either!

At such, rewarded myself with dinner @ Tamako with hubbie! It took me like months to get the high-inertia bear down to this Casuarina place for yummie Jap food! (Just went down with Drey about a month ago before we went Melaka!)

Looks good right! Friday’s promotion Sakana set @ $8.80 only! Slurp, yar my craving! Baby is very satisfied!

A dAy in JB

A lot of people keep asking me “Why do you like to go JB so much? What do you all do there?”

Actually the journey is not that long if there is no jam aka during weekday. We left house at about 11.30am and we reached the custom at about 12.15noon. The cab ride to Jusco (Tebrau City) took another 20 min and off we went to buy tix for our moobee retreat. Was contemplating between Twilight or Ninja Assassin but I thought hubby might like action movie more than a teeny bopper flick. Review: Eeeeewwwww. Too bloody for mummy and baby!

Went to grab a quick lunch before we went in the cinema and here’s our hearty chicky lunch! Yeah all these are for 2 of us. Yiah, think my appetite is coming back slowly... Control!!!

Anywayz, after the gruesome movie, we started our shopping spree from 4-7pm! Our focus was mainly on baby stuff since the things in Spore are soooo super ex lor… So based on the magical to-get-list from Mag, we started ticking and comparing the prices of the different brands.. Eventually, it just narrows down to Pigeon, Tollyjoy, Avent (Philips), Pureen… Yupz these are the main oligopolies (I realized).

Hmm… I personally think that my Papa is such a doting dad that I secretly wish my hubbie will bring up our girl the same way that my Papa pampers me too hee~

Took a short break for dinner before continuing our grocery shopping at the first floor! So this is a typical day at JB for your interest! (pls ignore the cannot make it hair)

And here’s our loot for the day! Secret Recipe is a must! Same price as Spore but just that it’s in RM! And there are still lots space in our fridge~ Don't doubt how we can carry all these back to S'pore.. Oh well, just do it!

So what exactly did we buy? Aren't the little clothes unresistably lovely and sweet???!!!

1) A swaddle me (to wrap newborn for comfort). 2) A travel changing mat. 3) A pack of Pureen napkin diapers. 4) 4 sets of Baby clothes going at 50-70% discount!!! 5) 3-in-1 set of booties and mittens on offer lor! Used to be $4.90RM per set, but now 3 for $10.90RM!!! 6) A pack of cotton buds and cotton balls (though I am not sure if babies’ ones are meant to be special such that they are softer and finer?) 7) A fish shaped mercury thermometer for RM$9.90 as suggested by Ms Drey (initially we wanted to get a digital one from Philip which cost ~S$30+) 8) A set of bathing towels and face towels (supposedly softer)

Wow~ All for $188.90RM and excluding our groceries haha~ =D

A little peep into Missy Ang's baby wardrobe! Ta~da~

Guess we have to control!!! Yeah I know, "babies will outgrow their clothes very soon..." "Ple will pass u hand-me-down old clothes..." "U buy so much also outdated, wont be able to wear them all... "

Heeheehaahaahuuhuu

Ah gee emailed us this story which i tot was pretty funny... have a good laugh! kekeke~

I was walking down the street when I was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless woman who asked me for a couple of dollars for dinner.

I took out my wallet, got out ten dollars and asked, 'If I give you this money, will you buy wine with it instead of dinner?'

'No, I had to stop drinking years ago', the homeless woman told me.

'Will you use it to go shopping instead of buying food?' I asked.

'No, I don't waste time shopping,' the homeless woman said. 'I need to spend all my time trying to stay alive.'

'Will you spend this on a beauty salon instead of food?' I asked. 'Are you NUTS!' replied the homeless woman. I haven't had my hair done in 20 years!'

'Well, I said, 'I'm not going to give you the money. Instead, I'm going to take you out for dinner with my husband and me tonight.'

The homeless Woman was shocked. 'Won't your husband be furious with you for doing that? I know I'm dirty, and I probably smell pretty disgusting...'

I said, 'That's okay. It's important for him to see what a woman looks like after she has given up shopping, hair appointments, and wine.'

The LittLe CaKe

My mama said today is my Chinese birthday and when she came over to our place just now, she brought me a slice of cake. Our usual custom is my papa will buy a Hello Kitty/Doraemon cake from Polar every year on 18th Nov for me! =D

And she still remember the little habit… so sweet right… my heart just melted and I feel so guilty for being fierce at her lor.
Sigh… I am so bad. I am always fierce at her. Coz she is always my stubborn mama. One thing can nag 4x. Once in the morning, once in the afternoon, once at night and one last time before I go to bed, if not to ah bear.

Tell her not to cook so much, she will ‘forgetfully’ or ‘innocently’ as she insists, cook 6 people’s worth of food. And each time it’s the same tagline: “You both eat more hor, your papa and me old people cannot eat so much/your papa and me dont each such things one hor, i cook coz both of you like”... wha....

Tell her no need to buy breakfast, we still have a lot, she will bring 1 dozen of monkey pao (shou tao) which she claims can keep in fridge for one month slowly eat, 2 bah zhang (which she insist is ah yi buy one but no one eats it very wasted) and 4 peng kway which she says the auntie very poor thing at the market no business, so must support.

In the end, she will brain wash me and bear to finish them all for tmr’s breakfast and tea, otherwise not fresh, not nice, not good.

Arghh…

I will be appreciative.

Argghhh..

I am trying very hard.

I love my mama. My naggy and sweetie mama. Muacks.
